I have to wonder why the store had one of Link's possessions. I distinctly remember him having this when I visited him. Perhaps it was something he purchased here rather than having appeared with? Strange, though, why would he buy a 'mystical music box' when the rest of his magical possessions terrified him. Maybe he was more of a victim of his own curiosity than he had let on.

At any rate, it seems as though there is drama of some kind wherever I go: Agrias and Erk one day, Soren sulking in the library on another. Agrias and Erk will likely reconcile. Whether this is for the best, I cannot say. Part of me would still prefer Erk to not be with her, but if Agrias wishes it...
[She sits down on the floor in her apartment and inspects the music box.]
Soren, though, is another matter. What could have made him so withdrawn? He was like that ever since I met him here, but the days of nightmare a month ago had a more negative effect on him than anyone else. He is an impressive mage and one of the few knowledgeable people from my world, so I would prefer him to be more open.
[She toys with the box, eventually causing it to play a tune.]
...Strange little thing. What is so mystical about this? It sounds like any other music toy I've heard.
Maybe I can figure Soren out with a bit more information. He seems incredibly defensive, but even he is not impenetrable. I can get information from him one way or another and figure out just who and what he is. Possibly figure out what has caused him so much trouble in the process, as well.
For starters, I feel as though I should know what in Ashera's name that mark on Soren's forehead is. I had thought it to be a tattoo, but at this point I know that is not in his character and I swear there is something else to it.
...Maybe that, at least, I could ask him outright. I will either get a lie or the truth; either way, I will have somewhere to start.
