I was in 8th grade when I heiled to Hitler infront of an entire crowd at the end of a school performance.
I wasn't racist, I just knew it would be edgy and offend people. I didn't even get grounded or in any real trouble with the school. A friend and I were pissed because the entire class refused to go along with our end finale', a total last minute no teacher involved coup of the program, OUR part of the program, so we ended it with a different bang., The staging was perf I remember my mother screaming "ELIZABETH!!" and one of the grade school teachers getting me into The Producers afterwards.
This was the same year earlier I was beloved for being Rudolph in the dumb Christmas school show.
It sure is a different world now
