Back from vacation - failed beer school
We spent several days in the Virginia area. One day was at Busch Gardens. They have a "Beer School" for adults over 21 to learn how beer is made and what is in it and some of the differences.
We taste-tested five unlabeled beers. We chose our favorites. I and only one other person choose number 2. That turned out to be the sample that was deliberately left out in the sun and endured all sorts of trials to age it prematurely to the point when taste is destroyed.
So I failed beer school. Oh well, I want to find wine and mixers schools now. Maybe I'll do better.
