Back from Nashville

Well I got back from a class 'educational' excursion to Nashville on Sunday and the trip back was kind of bad because of all the turbulance.  I'm not one who normally gets scared during flights but the planes we were in were small and only had thirteen rows in them. I haven't been to the US in a long time so I was surprised to see how nice everyone was when we were down there, it was wierd. We went and did some tours about Nashville and the Hermitage and Belle Mede plantations as well as going to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night.
In other news I've bought myself a teach yourself Russian language CD set from Chapters and I'm trying to learn it but it isn't that hard for my to do because I remember the syllables of the letters and the shape of them from when I was little. It's alot easier then trying to learn Japanese but I'm still working on that too. Twenty minutes a day usually works because it has to come in small pieces or else it doesn't work. The whole reason I wanted to learn Russian is because of what I found on the internet when I was looking up Russia-Ukraine guided tours: http://www.adventures-abroad.com/viewinit.php?viewtour=RU4&source=infohub

It's a guided cultural tour of the 'Golden Ring' in Eastern Europe for 25 days and costs $6293 USD. I can definately dream can't I?
