Pushkar

Pushkar could’ve been amazing, but instead felt very rushed. We arrived in the later afternoon and immediately rushed back out to see the markets and the lake. I chose not to do any shopping and just sat at the lake until it was time to meet back with the group.

The hotel here is also very beautiful, but not as comfortable as the Ranbanka in Jodhpur. The beds here are really thin and hard and so uncomfortable!

I had a quiet evening, most of which was spent writing in my journal, trying to regroup my thoughts. I also spent some time with our tour guide, Mayank, getting to know about him, his family, and his life. It was a really pleasant evening. I’ll be sad for the long bus ride back to Delhi and the return to the Hotel Good Times.
