So my first trip to Niagara Falls was a blast! SID and I had a great time, and I already want to go back. Our hotel was in the perfect location, right on Clifton Hill where EVERYTHING is...and the falls were just a short walk down the hill. It was pretty awesome.
The first night, we did a little wandering around - walked down to the falls, took some pictures, made fun of some people, and then went to the Hard Rock for dinner. They have this drink, called Hypnotiq Tea, that had me on my ass after just 2 drinks. They were sooooo tasty!
The next morning (afternoon), we slept late and then hit up Denny's for breakfast. After being amused that Denny's sells alcohol, we headed out. I strong-armed SID into going into Frankenstein's House of Horrors, which ended up being HILARIOUS. There was a guy in there in the ghost mask from Scream, who ended up just being funny, and talking to us...so I have concluded he is actually the killer from Scary Movie, and not Scream.
After that thrilling experience, we headed over to the movie theatre for a double feature: Get Smart and Love Guru. I have to say...I was pleasantly surprused by Get Smart. Since it was rated PG, I thought it might be kinda lame, but it was REALLY funny. Laugh out loud funny. I loved it. We had time between movies, so we headed over to Max & Angelo's and had some dinner and beers on the outside patio. Then it was back to the theatre for Love Guru - which was also fucking hilarious! And I don't always like Mike Meyers. I was shocked to see it did such crappy business its opening weekend, because I laughed through the entire movie - and the theatre we were in was packed. Oh well. Go see it. If you like Stephen Colbert or Jim Gaffigan, you will piss yourself.
After the movies, we had a chaotic drive around trying to get to the liquor store (I have the drive on video and it's hilarious). After buying copious amounts of alcohol, we headed back to the hotel to drink a bottle of margaritas and go swimming in the indoor pool. After that, we changed and headed out. I brought my bottle of rum with me, which I proceeded to drink directly from the bottle for the entire night. First, we went to Movieland Wax Museum of the Stars. The wax figures were really bad - and most of them looked NOTHING like the stars. It was really funny. After that, we stopped at the Great Canadian Midway, where I proceeded to waste 3 hours and $30 on video games. But as it turns out, I am a really good shot with a handgun. *shrug* After claiming our prizes, we headed back to the hotel around 3:30 a.m.
The next day we hit up all the touristy stuff on Clifton. We did Ripley's 4D Moving Theatre, Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not Museum and Louis Tussaud's Wax Museum (yes, he is the grandson of Madame Tussaud). The wax museum was a lot of fun. We took TONS of pictures with all the figures...but I think my favorites were me going down on Bill Clinton, me with Saddam Husseun, and me and the Pope, for obvious reasons.
After all that and some shopping, I headed down to the falls where I went out onto the Maid of the Mist. Holy shit you get close to the falls! It was insanely cool. I got soaked. My camera got really wet too, but I got some pretty cool video of the falls up close and personal.
Later that night, SID and I did the dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, and then our trip was over. All in all, I had a BLAST, and would go back in a heartbeat. It's like being at a giant carnival for 3 days. Very cool. And on our way out of the country, we smuggled some Absinth into the US. Good times.
So with absolutely no more adieu,
photos are all right here.

And as promised, my China report and photos are forthcoming! I have tons of pictures, and it's taking a while to get them all uploaded.
In other news, I lost 20 pounds without even trying! And I think I am going to Thailand in December. Woot! And then Europe with Stef next summer. Should be a great year.
