OMG, I also called them out on that "it gets better" reference. NOPE. YOU DID NOT EARN THAT, WRITERS. There was a really good discussion about the outing on HDJM last ep, and I got my ass handed to me (very very cordially) and it was amazing.

There was a HUGE LACK OF GIRLS in this episode about girl power.

I'm glad I missed the Tumblr drama. This was a brand new writer for this episode, so I AM HOPING they get their shit together. *does not hold her breath*

- Just because Santana is now out-ish, doesn't mean Brittany is suddenly about monogamy. Santana tries to sort out her feelings about this topic to Kurt and/or Blaine which leads to the boys discussing their own presumed monogamy and whatever it is they actually want for themselves.

- Santana feels like maybe she should try to meet, or maybe even date, girls other than Brittany. But how, when you're a femme head cheerleader do you convince other girls you are totally playing for their team. She asks Blaine for advice. It's sort of a bucket of fail. Kurt laughs.

Brittany wants to double date with Kurt and Blaine, Santana and Kurt have some reservations about spending an extended amount of time voluntarily in close quarters with each other, Blaine forgets to leave off his bowtie which delights Santana because she'd made a whole new list of bow-tie related insults (tempered down to a won't-make-him-cry-promise level for the sake of Brittany who really does want to have a nice time).
