Awesome fic. I really like the turnabout at the end, but it's the deliberate pacing and recall that gives this its power. The past melds into the present - yet he still forgets what it means to be a Slayer. If a Slayer is to humans as powerful as a vampire, what would a vampire Slayer be to vampires?

The images are surreal, and I find the whole thing very well done.

Yes, it was great that I got someone to look over this one because I was able to rethink the 'surprise' at the end, make it a bit more powerful. I also retooled a lot of the first half just to make it flow a bit more evenly.

what would a vampire Slayer be to vampires?

Definitely, this one's always been on my mind. I've always believed that you do not want to vamp a Slayer - their power would probably increase and since the whole Slayer thing isn't rooted in the human soul, but in an alternative power, if a Slayer is vamped, that's going to be one nigh-unstoppable vampire.

I find the whole thing very well done.

Wow! Absolutely stunning! You've portrayed Vamp!Buffy exactly as I've always thought she'd be...dark and able to give Angelus a run for his money. Loved, loved, loved the twist at the end. ::sighs:: Perfect!

If you ever allow it to be archived I would really like to put it up on my Vamp!Buffy site, The Immortal Slayer. Of course, you would get all credit and links back to your site (if you have one) or your LJ if you prefer.
