Buffy/Wesley. Or Wesley/Buffy. Whichever way one prefers.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish editing Betrayer in order to upload that story to the BFA, but I did say I was going to post this on Sunday. And it is very, very done.

Let's hope I can post this in one piece.

Betrayer

Ah, well, it is set after a lot of the stuff that happens in Betrayer and a few plot points are mentioned in the story, but this fic does cover them so I don't think you'd get too confused.

But here's a summary of Betrayer if you don't want to read it all (it's oh, about 160 pages saved in Word):

Alternating from S3, Wesley takes Lilah up on her offer to join Wolfram and Hart. He decides to screw over everyone, which he does, just barely. He and Buffy become partners and they join up to rescue Angel.

(Oh, and Connor kills Fred and wounds Gunn, so he's hiding in the sewers, being a vilgilante.)

Because of the effects from the spell, Angel's a bit crazy. He unintentionally kills a woman and Wesley covers it up. Angel and Buffy proceed to have the sex. And then they feel bad about it, so she goes back to Sunnydale.

(While this is going on, imagine Wesley and Lilah having dark, angry, and very hot sex. And lots of snarking.)

Wesley and Angel team up to find Connor and convince him to come back with them. Angel begins to suspect that Wesley is up to no good and he and Buffy talk and realize that Wesley is involved with Lilah.

After a bad fight, Buffy leaves Angel and goes to Wesley. Welsey convinces her that he's doing the right thing, but they (Buffy, Wesley, Connor) get captured by Wolfram and Hart. Buffy and Connor escape while Wes is tortured just a bit and he taunts Lilah, and Angel appears to almost save the day.

Connor is stabbed and placed under medical care, Wes unleashes the Apocalypse, and Wolfram and Hart is attacked. Buffy and Angel are compelled to fight, and then have with the hot and lusty sex. Wes is off getting drunk, Lilah is trying not to get killed.

Buffy wakes up and decides to leave Angel. Angel decides to only care about the fight. Wesley wakes up with a hangover, meets up with Buffy and agrees to go to Sunnydale with her to fight in the upcoming days. Lilah is threatened by Wesley to never show her face again.

Wesley walks off, saying, "the rest is..." And he left. (the end)

Wow. So I did have a plot.

What did I miss? Why nobody rec'ed me the Betrayer until Now!? I checked chosenfics, sure enough this story was rec'ed and I found the link.

I'll e-mail you back, and wow, you spent all night reading that monster? You're better than me, I can't sit down and edit a whole part without taking long breaks. Although when I originally wrote it, I would write until four A.M. trying to finish chapters under deadlines I set for myself. I of course never made them, but that's besides the point.

I would love to read AoS from Angel POV.

Hee. Sadly that won't happen. I wrote three pages of an Angel story set in this future-verse and I wasn't happy with it. I've sort of lost the interest in doing any more parts to Betrayer.
