I love this! The getting used to Ben, the explaining to Ben (or wondering how to explain) about the two of them... Sam and Ben plotting Dean's birthday and teasing. I LOVE Sam and Dean as co parents! It rocks!

Sad to say, but that’s it right there, the moment where Ben’s a full Winchester, cocky, arrogant, and willing to ignore the fucked up mess right in front of him in favor of getting his way.

Awesome line.

Goodness hon, you did read incredibly fast.

And I'm so happy you liked that line! It was one of the later additions, because it was so important to have moment when Ben really BECAME a Winchester.

It was REALLY fun writing this even when I was freaking out about the serious middle of the story. The crack made up for it.

You guys weren't kidding--and you totally delivered!!!! This is so much more than I imagined, and I LOVED every second of it. I love that the boys WANTED Ben there, and valued having him around, even though it was hard and weird and awkward sometimes.

The postcards to Lisa were fucking gold--I cracked up everytime one of them appeared. I thought you had 13 year old Ben down to a science, and Sam and Dean too. I just loved all their little family interactions, from the 'this is how we are' talk to the homeschooling.

This fic made me happy in ways I didn't know was possible! You guys ROCK!

I apparently take my crack very seriously and Stef is a godsend when it comes to cowriting, esp. as I am a crazy person and will be all last minute with demand for graphics or questions about whether I can get away with X or be like, "this sucks, plz to make it not suck" and she DOES.

I do have a cheat when it comes to writing 13 year old Ben, my sister Johnny is 12 and yeah, I totally studied her. :-P

Aren't Stef's postcards bloody brilliant? THE FLORIDA ONES! OH GOD.

I don't think I have half of the songs listed on the Bad Mix Tape. Hee. onelittlesleep made a mixtape though and I am in love with it. I believe Stef will be linking it with pretty graphics shortly.
