Anngewish Reports: First Responders

Apr 27, 2008 22:31

First on scene, Glass Beddau (26, Herbalist, Resident) was out for walk in early morning. When passing Sacred Whore, smelled blood. When she went closer to investigate, noticed broken latch. At that point she opened the shop door, noticed blood on floor within the interior of the shop. At this point, she calls to bystander, (Robert; 17, Baker's Assistant, Resident) to summon Sheriff. At this point Cary J. Tanner, (33, Unemployed, Transient) arrived on scene, and offered assistance. Beddau insisted on venturing into basement, on the idea that someone might be down there in need of assistance. Tanner offered to accompany. Beddau led way into basement, Tanner brought up rear. Tanner was armed. Neither could find light switch and so was using lighter for illumination. Beddau reports multiple foot prints made in blood on stairs. When they reached the basement, they found body of Anngewish, owner of Sacred Whore. By the amount of blood in basement and on stairs, they determined Anngewish dead, and after coaxing from Tanner, returned upstairs to wait for law enforcement personnel. Neither touched body. While waiting outside of shop, Kora Gareth,(28, Employee of Follow Me Boy, Resident) arrived on-scene. Having previous acquaintance with Tanner, Gareth is one of only 3 people (Beddau, Tanner, Gareth)to get close to the building before my arrival on-scene. Gareth did not enter building and did not see body.
