{Fic} The Fated Proposal
Chapter 11
Another month had passed, and Pi’s return will come soon. Jin actually didn’t remember about Pi until he got a call from his best friend during his break time at school
“Hey so how’s my best friend?” Pi asked
“Oh hey Pi…I’m good. Uh what’s up? Why did you suddenly called?”
“Aww Mou~ You don’t miss your best friend?”
“Of course I do Pi….”
“Anyways…I called because I can’t feel at ease…”
“Eh? What do you mean?”
“Remember I told you I plan to marry Kazuya? Well I’m going to propose to him once I get back there, but I’m scared. What if he rejects me?”
“D-do you really love him, Pi?”
“After our relationship before. After I realized you never loved me the way I love you, Kazuya is the next person who captured my heart…and yes Jin I love him so much…”
Jin let his tears flow “I am sorry…”
“Are you crying? Hey”
“N-no…don’t worry Pi. I know he’ll say yes…after all you’re the best ne?”
“thanks Jin. You’re the only one who makes me feel better every time something’s bugging me..anyways I got to go…take care of my Kazuya ok? Make sure no other guy touch him…” Pi said
“Hai…”
“Oh and Jin? Remember Ito Yuna? Our friend when we were young? I saw her here about 2 days ago and she said she’s going back there…once she comes back there, make sure she don’t leave us again ok?”
“Eh? Hai…bye Pi..”
After the call, Jin went back to the cafeteria.
“Who was that?” Ueda asked
“Were you crying?” Ryo followed to ask
“No…it’s just Pi…”
Just then Kazuya came and hugged Jin from behind. Jin of course felt guilty for just seconds ago he promised Pi to watch over Kazuya. Jin stood up and apologized to everyone
“I have to go sorry. Oh and Ryo, Pi told me that Yuna will come back soon…” Jin patted his other best friend
“YUNA??!! She’ll come back here??!!” Ryo shouted with delight
“Who’s Yuna?” Ueda asked, jealousy obvious from his face
“Me…” A slim, yet beautiful girl answered
4 guys turned to her direction with all their mouths open
“Tadaima…”She smiled
“Okaeri…” Jin and Ryo answered at the same time
Flashback
8 years ago…
Jin, Ryo, Pi, and Yuna used to spend a lot of times together. The 3 guys of course treated Yuna as their little sister for she is 2 years younger than them. Yuna is closest to Jin, and Jin couldn’t help, but protect her and spoil her like an older brother does. They were 12 years old when Yuna’s parents forced her to study in Italy. After that they never heard from Yuna, but still they know someday the 4 of them will be like how they used to be…just like their promise before Yuna left
“Someday the 4 of us we’ll see each other again and when that happens we’ll be together forever…” the 4 of them smiled
“Wait! Before I leave…I want another promise…” Yuna said with a bright smile on her face
“What promise?” Jin asked
“Once I come back, and you *points at Jin* are still single, I want you to promise me that I’ll be your lover…”
“Fine fine…not like I’m going to be single by then…” Jin smiled
“We’ll see…” Yuna said as she kiss Jin on the cheeks “See you guys someday…” She waved goodbye to them
End of flashback
Yuna ran towards Jin ad hugged him tight “I miss you soooooooo much!!!”
“I miss you too Yuna…” Jin finally smiled
“Hey that’s unfair…how come only Jin get a hug?” Ryo complained
“Hai hai…looks like someone is still impatient like before…”Yuna smiled as she let go of Jin and went to hug Ryo
Ueda and Kame both feel left out. Just who is this Yuna that they never heard about her before?
“Tat-chan we got to go…we’d eat lunch outside with Yuna…” Ryo said as he patted Ueda’s shoulder
Jin didn’t say anything to Kazuya, but instead he just nodded and walked out with Yuna.
“Do you know that Yuna girl?” Ueda asked once Ryo left them
“No…do you?”
“I never met her…Jin never told me anything about her, but they act as if they’ve known each other forever…anyways I can’t believe I’m talking to you, but oh well you’re here now anyway…”
“Ne…Ueda-san…do you think something’s wrong with Jin?”
“Why?”
“Coz I…well I hugged him a awhile ago, but he didn’t say anything…”
“Well you…” Ueda didn’t continue what he was about to say for he received a message from Ryo
From: Ryo-chan
Babe we’ll be having dinner at Yuna’s place. I’ll ask someone to fetch you later, so please do come ok? Love you…

“Why don’t you come with me tonight? Ryo just invited me to that girl’s house for dinner…”
“Eh? But Jin didn’t invite me…”
“Treat it as if I’m the one inviting you. Besides if you want things to go well between you and Jin, maybe this is your chance…”
Kazuya could just nod
*~~* Dinner time at Yuna’s place
Ueda and Kazuya arrived at the same time. The moment they came, Yuna invited them in and guided them to the dinning room.
The moment Jin saw Kazuya, he felt bad right away.
“Why are you here? Can’t you see I’m ignoring you?” Jin thought to himself
“By the way Yuna, this is Ueda, my boy friend…” Ryo smiled as he hug Ueda from behind
“Eh? No wonder he looks jealous when I hugged you a while ago…” Yuna smiled
“I wasn’t jealous!!!” Ueda snapped
“Don’t worry…I mean the 4 of us are friends, but among the 3 of them, only Jin attracts me…” She smiled
Jin smiled at Yuna’s childish action “So she’s still like before huh?” Jin thought
“And this is Kamenashi Kazuya…” Ryo introduced the younger one when Jin didn’t say anything “He is…”
“Pi’s boyfriend! I heard from him when I saw him in the States…” Yuna smiled at Kame “I’m glad you’re there to make Pi smile…”
“Uh…thank you..” Kame answered awkwardly as he looked at Jin who he knows is ignoring him
They ate while laughing at their old self which of course Ueda and Kame couldn’t relate to. After dinner, Yuna took out the pictures of the 4 of them when they were young. Jin went out the balcony though to have some smoke. Yuna felt that Jin wasn’t feeling really well, so she went out to follow him.
“Something wrong?” Yuna asked as she closed the door to the balcony “You don’t smoke unless you feel bad right? Well that’s what Pi told me…” Yuna smiled as she approached Jin “Let me have some…” She said as she try to grab the cigarette from Jin’s hand
“What? no way!!!” Jin moved the cigarette away
“Still as protective as before?” Yuna asked
“I can’t help it…you’re like a little sister to me, so of course I wouldn’t want to see you smoke…”
“Little sister?”
“Yeah…”
“Well I don’t want to be one…”
“What?”
“Wht’s with you and that Kamenashi guy? Don’t you like him for Pi? I mean Pi told me that you and Ueda used to be together, but there is totally no awkwardness between you two, but with Kazuya…”
“You wanna know the truth?” Jin cut her off “Kazuya is indeed Pi’s boy friend, but he is also my boy friend…well at least that’s what we want us to be…”
“WHAT??!”
“He was dating Pi before while I was dating Ueda. When Ueda and I broke up, I wanted Ueda to get jealous so when Pi left I blackmailed Kazuya to help me make Ueda jealous, but it was my worst decision ever for I ended up falling for him. And the worst thing is he also fell for me…” Jin started crying “I don’t want to hurt Pi, but I couldn’t stop myself from falling in love with Kazuya…”
“J-Jin…I don’t know what to say…”
“I don’t know what to do either…I love him Yuna, but I don’t want to hurt Pi and I don’t want to hurt him too…”
“Then break up with him while you still can…”
“I was planning to break up with him, and sacrifice our love, but when something happened between us, my mind was losing it…” he cried more
“let me help you then…please stop this now while you still can…I hate seeing you hurt like this…” Yuna said as she hug Jin
“I love him…”
“Remember before when we were young, you promised that when I come back and you’re still single then I’d be your lover. I’m still willing to be your lover Jin. If I have to make him jealous so it would be easy for you then use me…” Yuna said as she let go of Jin
“I can’t...I can’t enter a relationship if it won’t be him…”
“let me love you…even if it’s one-sided let me love you. Like how you make him feel loved, please make me feel like I have the chance to feel your love…”
“Yuna…”
“That time when were still young, that promise I made, I was serious Jin. I loved you before and I love you more now. That’s why I tried my best to find my way back here in Japan…”
“I…”
“Shh…” She covered his mouth with his hand “Go with my proposal and we’ll see how it goes. It will hurt Jin, but breaking up with him would make it easier for the three of you…”
“Arigatou…but I can’t promise anything to you..”
“I’m willing to take this bet and see where it goes…” Yuna smiled as she kiss Jin on the lips
*~~* Meanwhile inside the living room
Ueda and Ryo were laughing at the pictures when they noticed Kazuya staring at the balcony. Right then they saw the scene where Yuna was kissing Jin
“Kazuya…” Ryo called “I don’t know what got in those two but…”
“I understand…Jin ignoring me since this morning is already a sign. He wants us to end everything…” Kazuya said as tears fall down his eyes
“Kamenashi, maybe he was just…”
“I knew he wanted us to end, I just didn’t know it would be this soon, and I didn’t know it would be like this…” Kazuya was about to leave when Jin and Yuna entered the living room
“Kamenashi-kun?” Yuna called
“Ah gomen…I think I’ll take my leave now…” Kazuya tried wiped his tears away “But before I leave…I guess this doesn’t have any use anymore…” Kazuya pulled his necklace and threw it far enough for no one can see. “Sayonara Jin…” Kazuya said as he walked out
Jin was too shocked to say anything. Once Kame already left the building, Jin immediately searched for the necklace while crying
“Jin…stop it…” Ryo said
“No you don’t understand!!! That necklace is his heart. I want to keep it…” Jin cried some more as he searched for the silver thing
He found the necklace underneath the sofa, and right then he hugged it tight
“Gomen Kazuya…”
“Jin…I’ll help you forget him, I promise….”Yuna hugged him tight
Meanwhile in the Kamenashi residence
“Goodbye Jin…” Kazuya cried himself to sleep
