somehow my wallet caused a tim burton discussion and the guy at barnes and noble working at the cafe started going off about how he doesnt like johnny depp and how he used to get his ass kicked every day back in the day.... depp, not him.
apparently he went to school with him in miramar and was rather pissed that "now he's walkin around with his fuckin french accent, reinventing himself, when he's from goddamn miramar." ok, thats not really verbatim and i added the obscenities for dramatic effect, but thats the gist of things.
i couldnt help think of that marilyn manson interview a few years ago when howard stern asked him "what planet are you from?" and he replied "los angeles" and i was pissed for weeks at the muthafuckin sell out. i mean, shit, i'll be the first to tell you that its not cool here and i'm with jasper on creating a mass exodus out this bitch but seriously... born and raised. i cant help that shit, thats just what i am. where my mom decided to shoot me out. and all that.
tonight was good.
except now its 45 degrees in my room and all i want is a blanket made of fire. sounds like some notsogood johnny cash bside or something.
