Gotham's Premier Salon Noir & Dark Speakeasy is proud to present the official
release party for the Vampyre Almanac 2006, to be held on Sunday December 18th 2005
The Vampyre Almanac 2006 is the newly re-envisioned edition of the original Vampyre
Almanac which has been out of print since the fall of 2000. The original VA series
set the foundation for what most of what we know as the "Vampyre scene" the previous
editions remain a collector's item stored in personal libraries around the world.
Now embracing print on demand technology the 2006 Edition of VA will be available
in over 25,000 bookstores worldwide and on Amazon.com on December 18th, 2005. Included
with these pages will be over 25 interviews with major personalities of the scene,
lexicons of Vamp terminology, articles, features and of course the legendary Sanguine
Calendar. You will be able to discover where to order the new Vampyre Almanac by

During this celebration Magisters and acolytes of the Synod will be performing the
Immortal Stars Mass to celebrate the longest night of the year at midnight preceding
the official release of VA 2006. DJs Lestat and Jnco will be spinning dark classics
and your hosts Sir Victor Magnus, Lord Vlad and Lady Sky and Jeniviva will be presiding
over the evening.
Also, this night we celebrate the 500th and something birthday of our beloved Lord
Rexxx...who will have a special suprise for everyone!
When we discovered this unique venue is of such beauty, that this event had to be
created for it! Black Abbey is a return to the nights of decadence and class which
have been long forgotten in many of the world's gothic clubs.
Be mystified by our fabulous house magician VICTOR MAGNUS.
Gothic belly dancer Jeniviva will bring you an enticing show of morbid delights.
VLAD & SKY will be returning the Glamour with their legendary tarot readings
from 11pm-midnight for those lucky enough to get the experience.
DJs Lestat & Jnco spin dark classics throughout the evening.
Drinks are affordable with $5 bloodbath specials throughout the evening from our
alchemaster all wrapped in an atmosphere which is simply a treasure of velvet curtains,
secret doors, Victorian velvet couches and beautiful antique chandeliers.
Our security will be enforcing a 21 & over door policy and a STRICT dress code
of elegant dark, costume and fetish attire. Come dressed in your "Sunday best,"
NO sneakers, du-rags, baseball hats, kakis, jeans (even black ones), weapons or
slobs.
