I'm depressed and worried enough as it is.. it just feels like I should be there for support and help. I still consider it my home and if something terrible is happening, I want to be there. It doesn't really make sense, lol.

Yeah, I just found out that my uncle in Eastlake is probably about to have a mandatory evacuation.. and my home is only a few miles away. I don't think I'll be able to think about anything else all night.

Believe me, I know. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. Penasquitos, Poway, Scripps Ranch, and Rancho Bernardo have all been evacuated. Mira Mesa can only be next. I'm waiting for the dreaded message.
