Marie's Milieux Adventures
August 31 through September 18
Marie arrived in town and met Nate, Faith, Cassie C, and Integral. She also ran into old friends Pippi and Pip and mistook Dean for either Alec or the Dean she had met at Fandom High. Once they cleared up his identity, Dean took her to see Lana. Over a bottle of wine, Lana told Marie about her past and Marie ended up spending the night.
The next morning over breakfast, Lana invited Marie to move in with her and Dean, insisting to Marie that she and Dean were nothing more than friends with benefits.
Monday was Labor Day and Marie went to the cookout her dads were throwing, where she ran into Cally. The next day, Marie checked out the Divine Leaf where she met Anya and Susan
On Thursday, Marie hung out in the park where she met Mina, Rodney and Claire She got home to find a distressing email from Phoebe which she immediately went to share with Lana. They sent Phoebe a plane ticket to come out and visit them. Dean offered to drive Marie home and they had sex before he found out who her fathers were, upon which he flailed.
Marie found out about the news at breakfast the next morning and also learned that Lana & Dean were possibly more than just good friends, something which upset her because she thought she hurt Lana. She did not, however, find out about her fathers' conversations with Dean and Lana about the subject.
On Saturday, Marie and Dean picked Phoebe up from the airport. She, Phoebe & Lana spent time catching up and later that evening Marie apologized to Lana for what happened with Dean. Marie did not believe Lana's protests that she didn't have feelings for him.
The next morning, Marie spotted an article about Sam Anders in the paper over breakfast. Then she went to find out about a job as a deputy. On the way home, she ran into Dean and they had a heart-to-heart, which was more of a palm-to-head with Marie smacking sense into Dean about the Lana situation.
Tuesday evening, Marie got a call from the Sheriff asking her to come in on Friday for some tests.
Wednesday morning found Marie baking muffins for her housemates. She found out that Lana & Dean's relationship had changed from Lana while Dean filled her in on the weirder aspects of the town. She also tried to convince Phoebe to eat. Later, going for a run, she ran into Papa Phale and they had a nice conversation.
In preparation for her tests, Marie sparred with Dean, which ended in a draw. They got home to discover Lana cooking a huge dinner. She & Lana discussed Dean and how he made Lana feel safe. She & Dean joked around and she met Dean's brother, Sam. Then she was pleased when another old friend showed up, Piper.
Friday she handwavily passed her tests and got her badge. To celebrate, she took a ride on her motorcycle and ran into another old acquaintance, Sam Anders. That Sunday she decided to take a six pack over to Sam Anders place to welcome him to town and they ended up getting rather well acquainted (nws). They had a long talk when they woke up the next morning (vaguely nws).
Marie did her first patrol on Tuesday, meeting Brother Cadfael and getting a tour of the Worship Center, sampling the wares at Ambrosia at the suggestion of Cassie H. and stopping by the clinic to chat with Papa Phale.
