Exciting new developments stand as such:
a. I am posting this from my sleek new computer, which was surprisingly inexpensive.
b. Colorado State has offered me $24,000 ($6,000 per year) to attend. I am going to visit during the first half of February vacation, and it will be wicked fun, because we're also skiing and perambulating up into Nebraska to see the Oregon Trail route and Chimney Rock (I'm sure the corresponding Oregon Trail dance will ensue, because my sister is able to come with us). I've always wanted to see (and go on) the Oregon Trail, and this is my chance-- I can also ski and revisit a school I liked a lot.
c. Ben Kweller! SO SOON! I'll get to hang out with my dad, Molly and Steve, get some signed merch, and meet the man of my dreams. Also, skiing is included. "So hungry for so long"... only 14 days left! In two weeks, my ears will be joyfully processing his melodious voice. So excited.
d. Game night, possibly Bead Symposium tonight with Molly, riding tomorrow.
e. I redeemed $42.80 in beer bottles today for the Gateway fundraiser, and in the process was able to converse with the cute (albeit tattooed and scrubby) boy who works at the redemption center. We've made above $1500 so far this month though-- enough to send 1.5 DI or FPS students to globals in May.
