SO glad to be back in Athens! it's always hard leaving my family, but I feel much happier here already.
yesterday was great. we had little traffic getting in, and it was fun showing G how we've decorated Arlis Manor. oh, & Jared fixed my bike, so it's actually usable again! sweet.
I hung out with Sara & her sister Lydia (who was in town for a few days), and we watched American Pie b/c I'd never seen it. soooo stupid, but it was actually funny. good times :D.
theeeen Jared & I hung out/chilled/attacked each other with noisemakers for a while. more good times!
after we got back from dinner, we were sitting in the lobby & Philip arrived! so we helped him unpack some, then I went with Philip to a cool campfire. people told ghost stories, which turned out to be absolutely hilarious (by accident, I believe)... especially Grimmett's. hahaha. indeed, even more good times.
once I actually managed to put away all of my clothes & Jared got his surround sound to work, the three of us watched Bubba Hotep, another stupid but funny movie. I fell asleep through a good portion of it, so I'll have to watch it again... but it was fun.
so... life is good. yay! I wish I could be here all the time & not have to do work... that'd be excellent. oh, but of course I'd have to have friends up here with me. :P
hmmm... so now I have to go do stuff, otherwise I won't accomplish anything. once everyone else arrives, all hope is lost for me doing something that isn't immediately important :P.
