I hate calling people. occasionally, I'm glad when I actually get up enough guts to do so... b/c then I have wonderful chats with those occasional people. but not always.
I especially hate calling customer service.
I just got off the phone with Gateway's tech support about my laptop, which has a broken piece of plastic in the headphone jack (you know, the piece that keeps the headphones plugged in & stabilized). my teeth hurt from gritting them, my butt hurts from tension, and I feel a headache coming on. my brain is still spinning from all the flustered confusion. to top it all off, nothing got solved. my dad paid extra for a warranty that includes on-site service, but apparently I have to send in my computer in order to replace one measely little part that should never involve this much effort. so it won't get fixed b/c I need my computer, and the turnaround time for sending it in & stuff is too long. *sigh*
I hope I don't have to call tech support about my camera (which suddenly decided to die on me... wonderful of it). I'm not sure I can take any more near-mental breakdowns.
and what's with all my electronic stuff breaking, anyway?
