You're amazing! I love the way you work on the coloring, but your soft lights are to die for. I always try to give that kind of lighting to my icons, but I rarely succeed :D (her hair = ♥ ♥ ♥)
Aw, thank you. ♥ I have a very dangerous addiction to soft light; it's pretty bad. Once you start working with it, you can't go back. Haha. But, yeah, it all started with this tutorial which became my iconning bible, and I haven't looked back. I definitely recommend having a look at that tutorial though; neversleeps is a GODDESS OF LIGHT. :D
I really enjoyed reading this tutorial, especially because it mentions several functions I never used before (variations, paint daubs). I'd be ashamed to admit that, but hey, a tutorial is supposed to teach something, so you definitely succeeded there! :)
Oh, that's so great; I'm glad! :D I really love discovering new tools. I really like playing around with various things in Photoshop just so I can find new tools. Especially the filters menu because everyone says 'don't use them; you'll abuse them', but I've found so many fun ways to manipulate filters. They're really useful.
