A Holiday Hiatus...
Happy holidays, everybody. If you've already celebrated Hanukkah, if you're about to celebrate Christmas, if Kwanzaa's on your radar, or if you just like the Spirit of Generosity that Santa Claus brings, I certainly hope that your days are merry and bright, as they say.
This image is a typical North American view on the Christmas season, though I myself have rarely lived anywhere that actually snowed on Christmas. Rain, wind, and cold prevail for the most part, and even when I lived in Tennessee, the icicles hung down, but there wasn't much snow. I know this is not so for our Southern Hemisphere readers, so you have to suffer the traditions of the north yet again.
I haven't discussed this with the other regular posters here at reflectology but unless there's a big uprising after this post goes up, I think after the new year comes, it would be a good time to turn this comm into a regular comm where anyone can post whenever they like. That way, if you get to reflecting and you want to share, you can come post here any day of the week without an appointment, and those of us on the schedule can post if we've got something to say, and not post if we don't. No pressure, come and go as you please, and of course, all are welcome. (There won't be anymore posts for the rest of this year.)
I hope you have a great rest of December. I recently joined the comm cat_macros and it entertains me IMMENSELY. In parting, I'd like to share a macro that turned up yesterday that I find particularly hilarious because I served for a time.
I encourage you to join or watch this comm only because on a fairly regular basis, I LOL at the stuff people come up with. It's good for your mental health to have a good laugh everyday. Let the cat macros do their job!
