» Physical Changes
» His hair. Cut on accident by Kairi, his hair is now much shorter than it once was. The ends are still choppy, and it still has lots of different layers to make the thickness of it lay properly against his head. His bangs are also just a tad bit shorter. The only part the escaped the damage.
As of 11/17/2011 his hair has been trimmed, so it's still roughly the same length it was when it was originally cut. His bangs had also been cut fully and have been swept to the side instead of allowing them to hang down into his eyes. His hair closely resembles this.
» His back. He now has a set of runes on his back, given to him by Hanna. They are permanent with a light blue coloring. They're located on his upper back, right above his shoulder blades, right about where his neck goes into his body. The first one means "Fearless" and the seconds means "Strength" and while they do little, it's a reminder that he always has to be fearless in order to keep the strength that he's gained.
» His ears. During the body swap event, he and Axel got a little carried away with pranking each other. Because of this Riku now sports pierced ears. He usually wears small, diamond studs or small, silver ones. He also generally tries to keep them hidden behind his hair.
» Scars
» His left shoulder. There's a long, jagged scar, placed directly above the arm socket, received during the cross over event with Dystopian Flux and is the result of a fight with a zombie where he was tossed into a wall and hit a broken metal pipe. He was able to heal it but the scar remained. It's about three inches in length, jagged with the
skin slightly raised. Luckily, however, it's hidden by his vest.
» His chest. On the left side of his chest, directly over his heart, there's a clear stab wound. Slightly jagged, it's slightly curved, a mark that it was given by a very unique weapon. This was obtained during his fight with Sephiroth and was the main cause of his death. It's match lies on his back, right next to his shoulder blade. Both are about five inches in length and rather smooth.
» His stomach. There are a series of long, thin scars on his lower stomach, once deep wounds that have now healed. They vary in length and deepness, but it's obvious that they had been survivable. This is also a result of his fight with Sephiroth.
» His left side. A very faint, straight scar, about one inch wide and obviously a burn scar, obtained during his and Sora's fight with Xemnas.
» His collar bone. There's a short, thick scar on the underside of his collar bone, jagged and about two inches in length. Also a result of his fight with Sephiroth.
» His left cheek. There are two thin scars over his left cheek bone. Thin and white, they are barely noticeable unless you know where to look and you're in the right lighting.
» His forehead. Directly above his right eyebrow, slightly jagged and about an inch in length, it's mostly hidden by his bangs.
» Various. He also received various other scars and wounds from his fight with Sephiroth as well as other events and incidents, but most of them are superficial and wouldn't be easily seen or are hidden by his clothing.
» Posessions
» Way to the Dawn. His keyblade, which he is able to summon and dimiss at will.
» Oblivion. Due to an event that made him believe he was in fact the keyblade master, he now has the keychain for Oblivion, which he can now summon and dismiss in place of Way to the Dawn.
» A thousand paper cranes. The result of Hanna telling him about the legend of the cranes: If you fold a thousand cranes, you can make a wish. He wished to see Sora again. Most of these were burned after Riku discovered that Sora was gone once more and wasn't coming back.
» A black journal. Once a gift from him to Sora, it's now his record of Adstringendum, along with a place where he can write to Sora and keep little things that he receives from friends.
» Gifts
» A metal rose. Given to him by Sora on Valentine's day, it's an intricately made silver metal rose that he keeps in a small vase on his bed side table. It now appears to have some burn damage and is the only thing that was put into the fire that actually survived it.
» A stuffed white fox. A random gift from Sora for one of his missed birthdays. Hand made and perfectly white in color, it can usually be found on his bed. This was destroyed in the fire as well.
» A stuffed rainbow sheep. Made by Queen Katherine and once a gift from Riku to Sora, it's now the only thing Riku has left of the other, since he set most of the other reminders of him on fire. It's in a box in his closet along with his journal.
» A silver crane necklace. His birthday present from Ukitake, it's a silver folded paper crane, slightly larger than the one in the picture, complete with a strong chain that Riku now wears everywhere. He was also given a haiku, which he taped to the wall of his bedroom.
» A black heartless symbol keychain. Give to him by Sango for his birthday, it doesn't look like much more than an ornate symbol when on it's on it's own, but when placed in combination to the existing heartless symbol keychain that adorns Way to the Dawn, it transforms it.
» Burnt Twlight. The keyblade that accompanies the keychain given to him by Sango. Named Burnt Twilight by Riku, it can be used with the Sync Ability and dual wielded with Way to the Dawn or Oblivion. As a keyblade of the realm of darkness, it enhances magic by plus nine, as well as allows Riku to cast two spells at once, even going so far as being able to combine certain ones as long as he has it summoned.
» A woven black leather bracelet. Actually a present given to Hanna for Christmas, Riku now sports a matching one on his right wrist.
» Sora's crown necklace. A present from Sora on Christmas, Riku now has the crown necklace that can usually be seen around Sora's neck. He now wears it all of the time, just as Sora always did, in combination with the crane necklace that he was given by Ukitake on his birthday, mostly as a reminder that no matter what, his and Sora's hearts will always be connected.
» A stuffed papou fruit. Also a gift from Sora for Christmas. A replica of the famed fruit found on Destiny Island, he keeps it on his bed at all times, even when he's sleeping.
