On the note of AMVs, I think I remember seeing a video about Spike and Julia called "Life is But a Dream." ...there are probably a hundred by that name out there; I can narrow it down later. I think it was fairly popular, and for some reason I'm thinking it used a song from the soundtrack, which is unusual. (And I wouldn't blame the fans; it's really hard to make AMVs about characters without much screen time. You can't fill in the gaps as you can with fanfic, or at least, it's not easy.)

I haven't seen that far, so I can't comment otherwise (don't worry, I don't care much about spoilers. :) ). Just adding that possible lead.

WOW. I can tell you worked really hard on this, and I apologize because I KNOW that this comment can't possibly give it enough justification. That was really amazing - thoroughly researched and analyzed and clearly depicted. You wrote a great guide to the essence of the entire anime series! I was near tears by the end; you described Julia's character very well and brought up issues about her character that I have never thought about before. I really enjoyed the consistent nostalgic tone used throughout your work and the aura of mystery and phantom-like qualities you described Julia with - very accurate and well thought-out! Your last few paragraphs ("Awaken from the Nightmare now") especially struck me the deepest emotionally concerning Julia. The "Fun Stuff" section was rather enjoyable as well... Julia's unofficial theme song sounds beautiful. Concerning the AMVs, I've seen "Life is But a Dream" (created by ErMaC, I think) and it's really nothing short of amazing. I haven't really seen any other Cowboy Bebop AMVs concerning Spike ( ... )

Wow, thank you very much for such a great comment! ^-^ I really appreciate the fact you told me so much in a nice, fat paragraph! ;P
Lol, yeah, I really got into it; so much so, sometimes I sat right in front of the screen thinking up a way to write out something I just thought up! Like the significance of Spike going to Julia after his faking death (I never noticed it was a scene in the ending sequence until I watched it credit-less analyzing the others Julia was in).
And yes, thank you for the AMV link! sarahtheboring linked me to "LiBaD," so thanks for especially linking my to the other! I'll be sure to DL it ASAP. :D

Speaking of AMVs, the Jazz Messengers site has nifty section of AMVs here. I have all of these to enjoy, except the unfinished one, of course. :P
4 of them (Failed, Whatever, Fruit, and MSPaint) are very humorous! The MSPaint one makes me laugh out loud EVERY time because these 2 or 3 dudes actually tried to sing "Tank!" and they animated the opening sequence with Paint! They sound so funny, I love it very much. XP Flash is ( ... )

I just dropped in and your post caught my eye. I have to say that I was very impressed with it. I enjoyed your writing very much. :D

I've always been curious about Julia in a way, I found her to be beautiful and mysterious. I'm glad I took the time to read this-- it may just give me a new appreciation for her.

I have to admit that I'm SpikexFaye and ViciousxJulia. >> But I can appreciate the SpikexJulia pairing. (After all, what would the show be without it?!) Reading this may have just wormed the pairing into a little niche in my heart, though. ;x

Ooh, yeah, I would have liked to see more of Vicious and Julia's relationship more, before she met Spike... I bet VxJ was an interesting pairing! :P
