Well, it's good news for me anyways. MAC cosmetics has decided to release the newest collection C-Shock early! So of course, I ordered mine yesterday! And it's been shipped! Sooo excited! This is what I got:
Slimline Lipstick in Kissable, Vivacious Lipstick, Mega Lip Gelee, Going Bananas Eyeshadow, Wondergrass Eyeshadow, Big T Eyeshadow, Fab & Flashy Eyeshadow, Romping Eye Shadow, and Bare Canvas Paint. For a total of a whopping $135.00. But I'm sooooo stoked and I want it NOW! I hope they send me a postcard, too. It'll be my first one. :)
Garrett's doing fine like always. He's a handful. Always doing things he knows he shouldn't be.
The sad news. I almost don't want to share it but this family really needs everyone's prayers. I've been praying for them since I first heard about them 4 days ago. May 9th, Kristy and Josh dropped their only son, Kaleb, off at daycare and later that day when they picked him up he was unresponsive, sleepy and just not as he was when they dropped him off. Kristy and Josh both knew something was wrong and rushed him to the ER. He had been admitted into the ICU with a diagnosis of Shaken Baby Syndrome. His daycare provider had shaken him, for whatever reason. Now he's struggling for his life while she is walking out on the streets with her THREE children on $5,000 bail. He was having seizures every 36 hours or less, the doctors say if he does survive he will be in a vegative state for the rest of his life, and blind. But Kristy and Josh both don't believe that. Kristy has two videos, one of him moving his arm up and down, and another moving his leg back and forth. They have hope. They just want to have their little boy back at home with them, the way he was before this happened: smiling, giggling, crying, happy boy. And they feel that God will help Kaleb do just that. All that they are asking for is prayers, no money or gifts unless you really wanted to. They just need prayers. TO visit his mom's (Kristy's) myspace, the url is this: http:/.www.myspace.com/kristyreynolds There you can see all the love and support they have from all over the world. Even if you're not spiritual or religious, all you have to do is just say, "God, please help Kaleb." That's all, nothing dramatic and nothing commiting.
I mean, if this happened to your son or daughter, and you thought the power of prayer could save him/her, wouldn't you want as many people inthe world praying to save your son or daughter? Look at this little boy:
He should be at home with his mommy and daddy in their bed, not in this hospital bed.
