What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Go for it. He'll be confused. A common state for him.
Abilities: Physically fairly normal. Due to his contract with a monster, Dragredder, he can sense andsee monsters through reflections (aka see them in the Mirror World). We'll see how that translates into camp. Can transform into Kamen Rider Ryuki, but needs a reflective surface nearby to do so. Further details here.
Contracted to a Mirror World monster. Which requires feeding of other Mirror World monsters or . . . people. If he doesn't feed Dragredder, it'll eat him. Good times.

Kamen Rider Ryuki has several alternate timelines/endings in a TV special and a movie. That could possibly still be considered canon as the creator of the Rider War is able to reset time and does so in attempts to gain the ending he wants. So TV special -> movie -> and the series. Shinji will always be taken from the series.
