Post 3XW Halloween Horror Show!

Hot off the presses...here is some Billy J. news...

Worked Monday this past week. Had Tuesday off and didn't feel very well. Thought I had a head cold. Felt worse Tuesday night. Called in sick for work on Wed. and Thursday. I had a sore throat and hurt too much to talk. Felt better enough Friday to go to work. Worked Saturday and felt better.

I drove down to the 3XW Halloween Horror show in Waukee, Iowa on Saturday night (10/28/06). I was happy that I didn't have to ref the entire show. My voice would have never made it. Here are the results from the show:

*= match I reffed

2) Brian Ash defeated Cousin Mikey via DQ. Mikey cracked Ash with a steel chair
*3) Marek Brave defeated Jaysin Strife for #1 cruiserweights contenders match
4) Ben Sailer/Nate Bash defeated Mike Maxim/Krotch to retain the 3XW Tag Team Titles
*5) Egotistico Fantastico and Danny Daniels went to a time-limit draw
INTERMISSION
6) Gage Octane defeated Matty Fitness
*7) "Torturous" Tony Sly/Dan Lawrence defeated Casanova/Devin Carter in tag-team action
*8) Bryce Benjamin defeated Tony Scarpone in a Non-Title Trick or Treat Hardcore match

Another great show put on by 3XW. The show went a little long (over 3 hours). The main event went about 1/2 hour. Those 2 guys threw everything at each other (thumbtacks, barbed wire, flaming chair, flaming table, baseball bat with tacks, staple gun, kendo stick and taser. I got bumped towards the end of the match and woke up counting the pinfall as Bryce Benjamin laid on top of Tony Scarpone. A couple fellow referees came in to help with the match and got punked out. Bad night if you were a man in stripes. But all in all, a great show with a great crowd on hand to watch.

115 matches reffed this year...

The next show booked for me is Impact Pro Wrestling in Delta, Iowa this Saturday (11/4/06). Check out http://www.impactprowrestling.com for more info!

WWE was in Des Moines this past Friday night. Didn't hear from anybody how the show went. WWE was in Dubuque last night. Didn't hear anything from that show either.

I'm back to work tomorrow. Still not 100%, but I'm doing better. I believe I have a minor sinus infection.

Till next time!
