Post 3XW Show with Jerry Lynn
Time for a post show 3XW update...
Back into reffing action mode last night in Waukee, Iowa (just west of Des Moines) at Waukee Middle School for 3XWrestling. There were a total of 9 matches on the card but only had to ref 5 out of the 9. I had 2 other zebras to critique in the ring. They did pretty good for being their first time out there.
We were supposed to start at 6pm but didn't start till like 6:20 pm. People were still filing through the doors and Jerry Lynn's flight was delayed from Memphis so we were still waiting on him to show up.
Here's what happened at the show. I'll put a * next to the matches I reffed. I'm not sure on some of the results of the matches, but here you go:

1)Mason Hunt vs. Devin Carter
2)Zach Thompson vs. Aaron Masterson
*3) Tony Sly defeated Cousin Mikey
*4) Jeremy Wyatt vs. Buck Albright
5) Brian Ash/Bayliss vs. Kid Krazy/Matty Fitness
Intermission
*6) Sailer/Bash defeated Corbin/Cruz
7) Cassanova vs. Mark Sterling
*8) Gage Octane defeated TNA Superstar JERRY LYNN
*9) Tony Scarpone defeated Egotistico Fantastico for the 3XW Heavyweight Title
It was a great show. It was very hot temperature wise in the building. The top 2 matches of the night were Octane/Lynn and Ego/Scarpone. Ego/Scarpone deserved the match of the night. Had the crowd cheering like crazy.
It was great to work with Jerry Lynn. Hopefully it will take me one step closer to working for TNA or WWE. I got my picture taken with him and I'll be putting that up on my website for all to see. http://refbillyj.tripod.com
I'm not scheduled for a show now till July 14th (Impact Pro Wrestling in Newton, Iowa). The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Harley Race and Larry Henning will be at the show. It will be a night to remember.
Then the next night, July 15th, I'll be back in Waukee, Iowa for the next 3XW show. Molly Holly (aka Nora Greenwald) will be in the house for an apperance and Q&A session. Should be good times.
This weekend is the Sturgis Falls Celebration in Cedar Falls. Parade, concerts, food, carnival, beer and etc. Should be a great time!
