INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis swimming fans will get a glimpse into the world's biggest swimming rivalry this week.
Olympians Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps are scheduled to meet three times during the weekend meet, including twice on opening day.
Both are scheduled to swim in the 100 freestyle and the 100 butterfly Thursday. They are expected to meet again Saturday in the 200 IM.
Each will swim five events, though Lochte wasn't sure Wednesday what events he'd entered.
Lochte says he's honored to be a part of the rivalry and says the two have kept it friendly outside the pool. Phelps leads the Grand Prix standings.
