Eh, the Swimnetowrk profiles *look* good but are full of technical fail. Ryan's career highlights are off and a lot of the other athletes' profiles have wrong birthdates (years) listed (ex, Matt Grevers wasn't born in '81). I'm hoping they were in a hurry to get the new site up and are going to fix it soon.

also, is his nickname really "the Lochtenator"? I've never heard him called that. It's Reezy (and not "Reezy Deezy" ugh)

Seems like they rushed to put up the site before it was ready.

I think Swim Stars originated "The Lochtenator" nickname awhile ago, before Melbourne (it made Ryan's Wiki, in any case). No idea who came up with "Reezy Deezy," though.

Never been a fan of change but I liked the old Swimnetwork. It wasn't quite so...flashy. And all the old links are broken now, pictures are missing from profiles; it's just a huge mess.

I don't know what was wrong with the old site. Whatever, I'm sure we'll get used to it. They better get their facts right though.

also I don't think they know what "infamous" means. The 800 free relay at the 2004 Olympics is famous, not infamous.

also he won NCAA swimmer of the year in 2005 and 2006. He won NCAA freshman of the year in 2003.

Maybe you should contact them and let them know their errors. :)

Maybe the writer has a little pro-Aussie bias, in which case it would be "infamous" in his/her eyes... But yeah, fail.
