cats
so im not sure what to do with my cats.
Freddie has made the adjustment fine to living in a house with 4 other cats. I havent heard a noise out of him in a few weeks now. Sometimes he will "talk" when the other girl cat comes up to him whom we think she is in love with him cuz she always wants to be by him.
Scarlette on the other hand is having issues. every morning i hear her starting fights with the other boy cat, she growls and hisses and ends up trying to tear him apart. Then she is fine until i go to work... as long as she is alone, she is fine. Fred tries to play with her and she tries to kill him... they used to play so nicely and wrestle and have a good old time without any noises or issues.
My issue is...
a. i dont want to be without my cats,
b. my mom will take them for me until we move out (so 2 years) but i dont want them to end up being HER cats,
c. fred is fine, but she is not... i dont want to seperate them because i dont know how she would do without him and vice versa. They have lived together their whole life.
d. if i take them to my moms house, i cant bring them back here because we would have to go thru the whole "getting acquainted" process again and that was HELL for the other cats.
ugh. i guess ill give her till christmas. if she hasn't settled down by then, ill have to figure something out. i dont want her stressed or unhappy, but how can you tell a cat is unhappy!
