hi
so week one of campers has come and gone. and im here at camp by myself on break. week 2 starts in two days. staff comes back tomorrow. it is VERY peaceful to be at camp by myself. i saw 2 deers run by my cottage... i dont have to fight over the washing machine... i can clean and do what i want. its almost utopian... because i feel like the camp is my backyard. the air is beautiful, the trees are beautiful, the sounds are beautiful... everything is natural. i love it.
next break im going to springfield, ma to stay with Lina, visit Ron, see SC, maybe see the boys, and hopefully daniel is coming up as well. he is talking about driving up on his motorcycle from florida to spend time with me. it would be amazing if he did. but im not getting my hopes up because i dont want to be let down if he cant come.
as for camp, its okay. there is a lot disorganized and not working well with the camp, but the campers love it, so thats what matters. im interviewing with another camp up here in NY for a director position. hopefully that goes well. that way i have options. i have to call a few other places as well because i havent heard anything from them yet. its hard to do all that AND be at camp. i dont get much sleep so i spent most of the day just catching up on sleep. and now im off to do my laundry and then just chill out for the night.
hopefully everyone else is well. i havent had much time to talk with ANYONE since the summer has begun.
