Slacking off again...
Sorry I forgot to write last week, I just was busy and didn't have the time!! Anyways, a recap on the month of February...
For Valentine's Day, Jon and I started the day off at a wine tasting at the Village Vitner Winery in Algonquin. They even had a chocolate buffet set up with chocolate truffles and a chocolate fountain! After that, we went for a nice irish lunch at the Barley House and had some very yummy irish favorites. We went home for a bit to relax and then went out for a very nice dinner at a restaurant called Harvest at the Pheasant Run Inn in St. Charles. It was delicious!! The whole day was very wonderful and probably my favorite one yet.
Last week I got to have dinner with my mom at Bahama breeze while my dad was out of town for his DJ convention in Vegas. It was nice to catch up and hang out together. Last Thursday, Tori and I had a fun girls wine night and had a blast!
This past weekend, I attended a Baby shower for my neighbor Darcey in Carol Stream along with many other friends. Afterwards, we headed out to Naperville to the McGovern household to celebrate Chris's mom's birthday and so we could catch up with Chris, Amy, Jon's parents and Scott & Suzy. We topped the night off with a visit to the outpost to see Deidre.
Sunday was very productive, we cleaned the house, did laundry, went grocery shopping and then Deidre came over and we had a Wii day. We played lots of trivia, sports, and party games and we had a lot of laughs at it as well.
So far this week, i've been extremely tired, for whatever reason... here's hoping I wake up a little!
