Too Cold to type.

Last Friday, the roads were terrible in the morning... so after an hour on the road getting to a point that normally would take me 10 minutes, I turned around and worked from home. That was awesome. I made some delicious beef stew in the crock pot and later on went over to Lora & Adam's to watch Billy Madison. Jon came over and joined us as well. Lora & Adam went to sleep early, but Jon, Shannon and I decided to go out to the outpost and have a drink. It was a pretty mellow night, but it was nie to unwind.

Saturday we ran a bunch of errands around the area. I got a new Winter Coat - a big ski jacket that I can wear when I go in the snow, got 2 new games for the Wii, redeemed my bottle of wine from Village Vitner for this month and then we went Grocery shopping at Woodman's. While we were there, we stopped to get some beer for the house and we ran into the guy who brews the Pizza Beer. We were the first ones to review their beer and the first ones to get our pictures on his website, so he was pretty excited to see us. We finally got a picture with him after almost 2 years of talking through myspace. Afterwards, we went home and got ready for the Fugly Sweater Party. We got on our Fugliness and waited for Steve & Liz to come over. We had a drink before heading out and then we met up with the rest of the crew at the Outpost. It was a pretty good turnout for sure! Everyone seemed like they had a great time and lots of laughs were had. Afterwards, we went back to our house for some Wii and to play with Husker and then called it a night.

Sunday we vegged out. I made dinner and played a lot of Wii and got our Wii Internet connection set up. That pretty much brought me to a new level of addiction. I'm obsessed.

This week has been pretty crummy. I've had the winter blues pretty bad and the commutes this week have been horrible. Wednesday it took me 2 1/2 hours just to get to work in the morning! Ridiculous! On top of that, our neighbors had to put their dog Lana to sleep because she tore both ligaments in her back legs and she can't walk anymore :( I'm glad to see this week come to an end. Tonight we're meeting up with Tori & Nate at BWW in Hoffman. Tomorrow we're going to see Jon's dad play the Guitar in Naperville at some VFW hall. Sunday we might be going to a chili competition, but I know we're going to be making a Duck dinner with the Duck Lora & Adam won at the Meat Raffle!

Hope everyone has a good weekend... talk to you soon!
