so...
I was listening to the radio again on my way home, and they were talking about health care again
(yeah, I know, tired old subject, I apologize)
Anyway, I want to make a correction. In an earlier post, I said that people would be fined $1000 for not having insurance. This number is wrong.
The fine will start out at $78, and become something in the range of $750 in the next year or two... this is what I gathered from the news radio I was listening to (I listen for the traffic reports, I swear!)
and looking for that tidbit, a different site says that it will be a $95 fine starting in 2014
damn, everything is so confused about this fine...
either way, it's going to be either more than the uninsured can afford to pay or not enough to make anyone actually get insurance.
