It's raining...
"Bambi, don't talk until after the hunter's killed your mother."
Apparently, I like bad weather. It seems to follow me around, except for the whole Boston big snow during the time I was in Australia. Ernesto caused a power outage on campus on Friday and they had to cancel class. Unfortunately, it was not the day I had Civ Pro so it wasn't too exciting. Plus, it wasn't like you could do much since you didn't have class. The lights were out and they had to give us flashlights so we could go into the library and get books from our carrels. So, it was kinda amusing to walk around and see beams of light throughout the library.
It's raining again today. It had been misting but then when I got out of the car, it became a great time for a downpour. Yeah, not fun. And then I had to walk from the far lot to the building.
Fox started premiering its shows for the fall and I'll have to recap those later. Cause right now I'm in a workshop on "Getting the most out of class". Clearly, I'm getting a lot out of it.
Other than that, nothing much is going on. Just a lot of work. Some interesting things have happened and once I can actually process them they'll be some amusing stories for you (Lynicat!).
Also, if anyone has any suggestions about how to deal with "helium hands" who are not trying to be annoying but may be, then please let me know. Because we're still trying to figure out how to address this.
