"What am I supposed to do? Hop around on one leg?"
So, I just got back from California visiting my awesome roommate. It was good to get away from school for a while and I didn't have to participate in the initial rush for casenotes.
Now, I'm working on writing my pieces for my journal applications. I'm not entirely sure how this will pan out. It's just a lot of work for a short period of time and I need to just get everything under control and ready to go. At the same time, I start work on Friday, but I only have to go in for a few hours since no one in the office wants to work on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.
I'm also in the process of packing up my apartment since I'll be moving to another place. And I suppose it's good I decided to move because I'm pretty sure the scholarships won't be renewed since the first couple grades are already reported. I'm not holding my breath on the last one, although at the very least I can hope for something semi-high, but we'll see. I mean, I should be satisfied with my lowest grade since I didn't really know the material, but I would have just liked to get a bit higher. Oh well...
On the television front, so many shows are getting cancelled and so next season will be iffy at best. There are some promising shows and Heroes is returning, but 24 needs a comeback because this season has been incredibly boring. It looks like this will be the end for Veronica Mars, which is too bad because the cast and writers are so talented. The Office was really funny and I'm so glad that Pam finally got up the nerve to talk to everyone in there about how they treat her. Grey's has been so-so for me this season. Ugly Betty remains adorable and I'm so glad that Christopher Gorham has been promoted for next season - I've been a fan since Popular and Jake 2.0 (still waiting for the DVD, UPN) and I'm glad he's found an awesome character who "walks like 3CPO." Desperate Housewives was on and off this season, but it'll be interesting to see how the Edie "hanging" plays out. Also, Brothers & Sisters is great and next season should be promising. Okay, back to the casenote I go...
