OKay. The concert. Amazing.
Originally, the show was supposed to start @ 11:30, and we were under the impression that there was no opening band. Well, they didn't even let us IN until 11:45. Then there were the usual Dirty Business Brigade type acts. Well, I don't know if "usual" is the right word. They opened up with 2 burlesque dancers. Both of whom were way too skinny, but meh, whatever. The MC chick who introduced them was hotter than Hell however.
So then Reverend Glasseye opened up. They were pretty awesome. I couldn't always tell what he was saying... but the music was great. By the time Dresden actually got on stage, it was 1:15am.
So, yeah, wow. This is the second time I've seen them, both times at the Metro. They are deliriously good!!! They were in such great form. Seriously. I got chills so many times, cried a few... OH! and they did their cover of "WarPigs"! *shiver* Seriously, the best live performance I have ever seen. They did several tracks off the new record. I'm so excited! April 18th, yo! Get a copy! "Yes,Virginia". Thank you :P Um yeah. Amanda and Brian are so intense. When he looks at her when she doesn't know he's staring?? Gah! It's the most passionate, intense stare I've ever seen. ANd she looks @ him the same way when he plays... It's just so... hot. And it's like they're trying to devour each other with their eyes. You can tell how they admire and respect each other.
Oh and Brian is awesome in his man-skirt. haha. I didn't catch a drumstick this time :( But I did catch a carnation :) So yeah. I didn't get home until 4 am. And then I got up @ 8am for work. Yay! hahaha
Sorry this isn't more detailed, but I still haven't gotten any more sleep, so my brain feels faded.
I'm also extremely worried about Kristy. Talk to me. ILY!
