I am registering for the GRE right now, to take it next month. That way, I still have time to take it again if I really need to before the OSU grad school deadline. Which means I'm really going back to school next year (as long as I get into the program I want, anyways!)
I never really studied for the ACT/SAT/other standardized test. I've looked over the sample questions on the GRE Web site, and have a couple practice tests to take. I also plan on going through the writing topics and getting an idea of what I would write for several of them.
The only thing I'm worried about is that I'll be there from 3:30 til almost 8, and we can't bring anything in, and my blood sugar will NOT BE HAPPY, which could make the end of the exam difficult to complete.
For those of you who have taken the GRE, how did you prepare? Should I handle it like other standardized tests and just be familiar with the types of material on the test, or would you recommend studying a lot?
