This is by FAR the EASIEST category for me. I REALLY hate this movie, and whenever I hear somebody telling me, they like it, I'm like: "Huh? WHUT???" (and I couldn't give a damn about their opinion concerning movies anymore - like my sister. She likes it... She also likes Twatlight... And got nightmares from Saw... Well... And my roomie wants to watch the movie as well and when she told me, she rented it, she was all excited... Well... She still hadn't seen it. Let's see how this will go on...)

And can somebody please be so nice to explain the Oscar for Best Cinematography, when EVERYTHING is CGI??? W T F ? ? ?
Or Art Direction. I thought that one was for the sets and everything... How can you give a Oscar to AVADUH when it's CGI AND NOT REAL?!??!?!?!?!?!!!!????!!!oneoneone!
Young Victoria or Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus were way more beautiful.
Or the Globe for Best Directing, when Quentin & Kathryn were nominated as well? Now really!
What is there to direct in a movie like Avatar? "Ohhh I want some more blue there. And some more green there. And please let the ship fly like this." IT'S JUST CGI!!! And the little bit in between - doesn't really count... "Yeah, I'm talking to the camera with my monotone voice. I don't really have anything interesting to tell you, except - LOOK AT MY NEW BEARD!"
Well, Oscar for Special Effects was well deserved. I'm not saying anything against that one. But that one went to WETA anyway. It's freaking WETA! They are awesome! Ever since LotR I just love them.
Oh yeah, and whenever somebody told me about Avatar the last year, I was all excited for the OTHER REAL AVATAR movie! You know, The Last Airbender!
Well, at least Google got it right again...

And when the movie was released on DVD and Blu-Ray all I wanted to do whenever I went to a store - just grab every DVD and Blu-ray + all the merchandise I could lay my hands on, and throw them into the trash. Can somebody please arrange that for my birthday? That would be quite awesome!
