Lost Theories
So. If anyone cares, here are some of my theories for the episodes to come...
OK. So basically I think, Jack is going to replace Jacob. Why? Easy. He resembles Jacob the most.
Hurley can't be the one to replace him (even tough he seems most qualified for the job right now with him being crazy and all), but he only met Jacob AFTER he already LEFT the island. So, no. Hurley, you're either waking up from a fucked up dream from the last 6 years, or you're just going to die.
Sawyer. Well. I love Sawyer, that's no secret. But I actually think that he isn't going to be the new protector. No way. He isn't 'pure' enough for the role - at least not in this time line. He at least killed 5 people, tricked a couple of hundred and for the most time of his life he was a criminal. Ok. So basically Jacob led him there. But that's the point. HE LED HIM THERE! If he hadn't, Sawyer would be a cop. OK, he would still search for Anthony Cooper, but still. He'd be a good guy.
And btw: 8 + 15 = 23. Any questions? :D
OK. So: Jack. Where to begin? It's definitely NOT a secret, that I hate him. From the bottom of my heart.
I was just rewatching some episodes with my sister. In one episode MIB asks Kate: "Have you ever hated somebody from the bottom of your heart?" My answer would have been: "Yes, JACK! Give me a dagger, I kill him."
He's such a douchebag. Oh boy.
But now. We finally saw the story of Jacob and MIB. And Jacob was like Jack: as whiny as it can be, always trying to be responsible. He was basically Jack 2000 years ago.
OK. And the fact, that the Monster constantly took the form of Jack's father wasn't so uninteresting either. I think, he desperately wanted to lure him out, already taking him to his side. Or already chosing him as the new Jacob replacement - even though that's Jacobs job, but MIB wanted to kill Jacob anyways... So. Jack is MIB's most wanted Jacob replacement.
MIB didn't kill Jack even if he had the chance to do it himself, but wanted Jack rather to kill "himself" with the bomb. (Yup, in my opinion it's not Sawyer's fault, but Jack's. Why did you go on the sub in the first place? Asshole.) And Jack obviously had to survive for the big showdown on May 23rd :D
Then, there's this whole issue about Matthew Fox claiming, that he ALONE (from the cast) knew where the story is heading - for the last 4 years. God, can somebody please punch him for that?

OK. Thoughts are now all cleared up. I want more nakedSawyer in the show. And I'm going to bed.
Only 10 days folks! Then the nightmare will - possibly - be over!
AND NO SPOILER WHATSOEVER IN THE COMMENTS!!!! (not even references to anything - synopsis, trailer, sneak peaks - no nothing!)
