Day 04 - Your favorite show ever: BUFFY the Vampire Slayer

It was my first obsession and every show I watch nowadays I rank on this show.
It has everything: heart, awesome action sequences, great chemistry within the cast both for romance and friendships, great humour, vampires (thank Whedon, they don't glitter!), James Marsters, a musical, drama, heartbreaking scenes in which you have to laugh after just 10 seconds, a world changing attitude, great OST, an episode where they just shut up, a show where you can get scared and basically the world's best slayer you could imagine: Buffy.

I mean, when you just imagine the toughness of the girls. They are ALL great. Not just Buffy. I mean - come on! Willow is a witch, updating to be a goddess. Dawn is the key to the apocalypse, Anya is an awesome ex-demon trying to cope with the humans and being human. Cordy is a cheerio seeing the world of Sunnydale as it is and trying to do good things. And of course, Joyce. She has her flaws, but she's still a great mom. And if I just think about 'The Body' I already tear up.

Also this show was groundbreaking on many levels. As mentioned: The toughness of the girls, then there were the whole Angelus-Storyline which was bittersweet and not such a dumbshit as Meyer did in Twatlight. An episode without 20 minutes of talking, an episode without any music, an episode with a LOT of awesome music, and Buffy was the first show which showed some action between lesbians in US-Television.

And if somebody is not yet in love with the show - shame on you. You have a lot of catching up to do!
