(no subject)
ok...so i work at YD Home Medical as of last week, as well as the restaraunt. So far all is well...though many feel that i'm overdoing it by workin 2 jobs. Mon-Fri i work from 8-5 and Wed-Sat i also work 6-9 or so. Definitely a tryin experience but not too bad.
Well, 2 weekends ago, Friday i went out with Allen Watters from Butler. He's really nice...we went to Meridian out to eat and bar hopped. All in all a good night. Saturday i went with Kerry to Mobile to meet his sister from New York. We hung out with her for a bit as well as his parents, and visited his cousins also. On the way back we went to Callahan's, our little country bar here, i didn't enjoy that quite so much. Just reminded me of why i left SweetWater to begin with. Oh well. As they say some things never change.
Hurricane Dennis came through this past weekend. Actually wasn't bad at all. We were fortunate. Luckily everything that could be damaged was damaged with Ivan last year. But in SweetWater, the winds were so bad that it uprooted the gas pumps!!!! No one was hurt though. We were out of electricity for about a day and a half. Not bad at all compared to last year where we didnt' get electricity back for almost 2 weeks.
