Well for my first 36 hours in Maryland it rained like a mother and there was thunder and lightning!! How awesome is that!?!
I live in this really cute little 1950's row house. Its all brick and has white frames and black shutters, i'll send y'all a picture. I'm sleeping in the basement right now which is FREEZING because of the AC. Outside its only in the high 80's and nowhere near as humid as everyone kept saying.
I had crab cakes for dinner last night and then had a cantaloupe Hawaiian snowball for dessert. Yummy!!
I'm exhausted and kind of a zombie, but everyone is being real nice and taking me around to see all that there is to see. The crazy part is that whatever we see is usually surrounded by jungle-like forest :) Its REALLY green here. Their definition of "park" is nothing like Cali. there is no cement or sand in their parks, and forget the sod playing fields. There is a park a block from my house in either direction and both of them look like little chunks of forest with meadow included, its SO beautiful!!
My front yard has a butterly bush and it was covered in butterflies this morning, a Swallowtail actually kicked it on my shoulder for a while!
The main thing that is crazy to me is that everything is REALLY REALLY O-L-D!!! We drove through a little town called Ellicott City today it was founded in 1772, there were stone buildings and houses there (that people still live in and use) that were TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY years old! That town existed before America was even a country!

I'm staying with Dan & Janice tonight, so I'll get to see more of the city, but peace to y'all, i miss you and COME VISIT!! Its VERY cool here!
