AMP12: Day 34
Now, I know I shouldn't feel happy that my Internet Friends are all feeling poorly, but lalejandra has either seasonal allergies or the death flu (only time will tell, at this point). So....podfic, to cheer her up! (I do so love the sense of "Look, I brought you a present!" that is the result of posting podfic to make someone feel better. I imagine it's how a cat feels, bringing dead mice to your doorstep.)
The podfic that hopefully will bring joy this evening is another ex on the calendar, written by lalejandra - it's a bandom story, written as fix-it fic for the split that Panic! at the Disco went through. In this story, instead of Ryan leaving the band with John, and poor Brendon and Spencer being left all by their lonesome, bereft and friendless, something else happens. It's like brainwashing, only with orgasms. Orgasmwashing? Nah, that sounds even ickier than in my head. Whatever, Spencer and Brendon convince Ryan, through the Power Of Threesomes, to leave the 1960s behind him and stay with his boyfriends. Hooray! It's like all the Magical Healing Cock stories I read in ST:xi, only not really at all - instead of fixing Ryan's wounds, the boys use their naked sexy funtiems to nourish his soul. Plus, it's Twitter!fic, which is like not!fic, and fun for me to read aloud.
The Intro/Outro music for this podfic is The Calendar, performed by Panic! at the Disco - what else could I have used? Technically, The Calendar plays like a breakup song, but I think I spliced it in well enough that you can see the new relationship emerging.
