a new addition to the listening library
So, my voice is all kinds of fucked up, from the coughing and sneezing and wheezing part to the hacking and gagging and spitting part, but! Lucky me! I am a hoarder of podfics...and because I don't want to glut the market (also, because I like dragging things out for myself...whatever, some people enjoy delayed gratification...) I have a few more to post while my throat recovers. Eventually I'll be back to my sweet-talking self, and I'll find free (quiet) time, and record more....but for now, you get to listen to a few days' worth of previously-recorded fics. Yay!
Today's stored-for-a-sick-day podfic is Wrote the Book, by insaneidiot. According to the author, it's mildly Kirk/Spock, but mostly Kirk/Inappropriate Behavior. Kirk's thoughts throughout this story are basically the ones everyone has at 'Inappropriate Behaviors In The Workplace' seminars....only no-one else would ever say them out loud. After listing/reading this (and of course, leaving feedback for insaneidiot), check out the recommended secondary text: NCIS episode 4x11, Driven. It's what inspired this fic, and it's also one of my fave NCIS episodes out there.
