Oooh, that's an intriguing title idea, and not stupid at all! Actually, I'd been waffling between that quote, and one from Willa Cather ("Every fine story must leave in the mind of the sensitive reader an intangible residuum of pleasure, a cadence, a quality of voice that is exclusively the writer's own, individual, unique.") - I don't want it to be too melodramatic, but I do like the idea of calling the collection something like, The Intangible Residuum: A Collection of Stories.

As for the story suggestions - I haven't read any of these yet! Which is very exciting for me ;-)

*giggles* I actually like that title, so apparently I'm 12 years old again or something. XD

As for epistolary fics, I have about 50 fics tagged on delicious here: http://www.delicious.com/kazuhachen/document! (that exclamation mark belongs with the link!). Not all of them are completely composed of letters etc., but all of them have notes, emails, articles and stuff in them. I'll look through them, maybe I'll find some goodd stuff. Any fandom is okay, right? (I also have a tag for ouitsider-POV, if you're interested.)

How had I not seen that fic before? I thought I'd completely scoured rivkat's catalogue.... Plus, yes, that's exactly something that would fit - and she's on the BP list, so it's even better :-D
