Why I Love It: Once upon a time, Sam and Dean instilled in my SOUL a deep and abiding fondness for codependent siblings. Once upon a different time, Wanda Maximoff LITERALLY REWROTE THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE to keep her brother alive. I don't care what the canon is, you cannot possibly convince me that there is ANY reality in which Wanda is OKAY with her brother dying, to the point where she flounces off to play superheros Upstate. Nope. Can't believe it. Obviously, Wanda doesn't believe that nonsense either, Joss Whedon, and just because there's a ~science answer for why Pietro's not walking around like swiss cheese anymore, it doesn't mean that there's not also a ~magic answer. CODEPENDENT SIBLINGS BENDING REALITY TO KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE IS MY JAM. The way that everyone else doesn't quiiiiiite notice that bent reality? Yep, that's pretty great, too.
.....although, it WOULD be kind of fun to see Wanda and Pietro poking around a minimart Upstate...and running into some of the kids from the local Gifted School.... and maybe there's a girl with gree hair.... and some winkwinknudgenudge about a family resemblance? If you're going to wipe out their backstory, I'm just going to headcanon it back in as a crossover event.
