Why I Love It: I've actually been thinking of Gimme Sympathy as the Intro/Outro music for this podfic since pprfaith first posted this fic - and now that I've finally gotten around to the actual podfic recording part, it's even better. The thing is, for all that Buffy had revervations starting a relationship with Steve and Bucky in barefoot, Steve has ten times that many hangups about KEEPING that relationship. Steve's full of neuroses, and is a bit of a sadsack, and doesn't even realize how much help he actually is to his partners. Tony's great, though - he's aware of the parallels between them, but won't let Steve wallow in his insecurities any longer. As much as I love stories about OT3s finding their way into OT3-dom, I love stories of OT3s maintaining their threesome and keeping the relationship healthy EVEN MORE. sky and sea does all that, and gives you all kinds of character examination and emotional hemorrhaging, to boot.
