"Yeah, well. I'm sorry that you almost got assassinated in your underwear."

I've been on a Peggy Carter/Angie Martinelli kick lately - maybe it's the snappy banter between the two women, or the way Angie sounds like home, or the fact that I need more awesome ladies being awesome in my life, but I've fallen head over heels - and I am so pleased to add another podfic to the slowly-growing stash of Cartinelli fanworks.

Living Arrangements, written by netgirl_y2k (who has blanket permission to podfic!) has all the best things you could ask for. There's a bit of friends-to-lovers, some didn't-realize-we-were-married, a lovely dash of post-canon roommates shenanigans, and some much-appreciated bisexual character acknowledgement. Angie's POV throughout the story is delightfully vibrant, whether she's happy with life, or pissed off at the universe, or juggling civilian priorities against Peggy's spy duties. I loved seeing the push-pull of her developing relationship with Peggy,as well as Angie's interactions with Howard and Jarvis. Plus, this fic slots perfectly into the scene set by the last five mintues of Agent Carter's s1e8 (I remember watching that episode, and thinking, "Living Arrangements is canon!").

The Intro/Outro music for this podfic is I've Got The World On A String, as performed by Peggy Lee; though Peggy Lee's version of the song was recorded in 1962, the original tune was written in 1932 - which makes it a tune Peggy and Angie wouldn've known well. Plus, it's a happy song about being in love! Which is exactly the mood I was going for, in this podfic.

This podfic was recorded as a gift for rhea314 - I'm so glad we're recording in the same fandom again! It's been a while - since, what, XMFC? I hope it makes you smile :D

The podfic has a runtime of 00:29:30, and can be downloaded as an mp3 right over here (thanks, paraka for hosting me). Happy listening!

I'm going to use this podfic to fill my "Read Deadpan" square for podfic_bingo, thanks to this bit: Then two more agents come out of the penthouse with a stretcher and, jeez louise, that's a dead guy. Angie can't think of anything to say except a deadpan: "Gee, Peg, you know I hate it when you bring your work home." Hooray for podfic_bingo!

fandom: avengers, b-i-n-g-ohhhhh, other people's fanfic, podfic, i made coverart!, fandom: agent carter, there's a girl in my bunk!
