in which there are many collaborative podfics
Wow, I am actually absurdly far behind. I'd planned to post about this stuff weeks, if not MONTHS, ago.
Okay, item number one: I did a thing for pod_together! sirona_gs and I started off by spitballing about Bucky Barnes playing guitar to improve manual dexterity in his robot hand.... and then she wrote a fix about Steve Rogers, Kind go the Trolls. There's dancing, and guitars, and a frustrated Natasha, and all kinds of loveliness. You should go read the fix and listen to the podfic over here on the AO3. You should also check out the fanmix that goes along with the story - all the songs Steve likes to dance to - because it'll compliment your appreciation of the story. And because Steve Rogers doing the rockaway is a glorious mental image.
Item number two: months ago, I had the Best Week Ever - I sleep in analise010's basement, and we made miniature donuts and nearly got run down by Segways and visited art museums and made podfic. One particular podfic that we recorded was a J2 bit of ultimate crackfic: GOH DIREKT 2 BASEMENT CAT, NO PASS GOH, NO CAN HAS $200 (or how queenklu was kickd off teh intarweb), written by queenklu. Jared and Jensen are at summer camp... and there are marshmallows.... and there is LOLspeak. I did the LOLspeak. And then analise010 wrote up a very fancy podfic post over on the AO3, which you should go visit and listen to us being ridiculous hilarious dorks.
Item number three: slightly fewer months ago, jelazakazone came to visit New York! And we also went to visit an art museum (if you spend any significant amount of time in my presence on vacation, we will probably wind our way into a museum. Fact of life), and we also recorded a podfic! jelazakazone is a big Merlin fan, but I don't really know much about it except through fannish osmosis and what she told me between 3rd Ave and the Met, so we recorded a Steve/Bucky story full of pining and delicious angstmuffins, instead: Janus, written by Odsbodkins. (While jelazakazone was here, we also recorded some podfics with klb! And it was delightful! But I haven't finished editing those yet. So never mind.)
